Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter (melted or at room temperature)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups chocolate chips

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combine until smooth.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
7. Using a spoon, drop small portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
